I've been using the eVic for around 2 yrs now. Like many new vapers, for the first year or so I spent quite a bit of money trying just about everything from cig-likes to box mods, mechanical mods with drippers, and so on. This is what I finally settled on - it satisfies and works day after day after day without any fussing and fiddling. It's been dropped many times on everything from carpet to concrete and just keeps working like a champ. I use it with Kanger ProTanks and love its durable and reliable operation.

I purchased the eVic while on vacation at the Cignot store at Hickory Hills. I'm an experienced (2 year+) vaper so I understand the basics of how to handle an atomizer. Within the first 15 minutes I received an "Atomizer Short" message. I did replace the atomizer and it worked OK after that. I later learned that when I charge the battery to 100%, the eVic will not fire. In fact, it won't fire on a regular basis until I get around 85% battery or lower. Annoying for a brand new product. It does work fine otherwise, and I do like the feel of it and the "gadgetiness". I would wait until maybe the next hardware version before recommending purchase.
To the credit of Vicki and Cignot, they are going to replace the eVic unit as this is a problem they have experienced before. 2 stars for the eVic, 5 stars for the Cignot service!

Looks good, battery lasts all day, and works just fine--until it doesn't. The warranty is only 30 days and mine started giving me "Atomizer Short" messages at day 58. For a few days I was able to 're-boot' the e-Vic by hooking it up to the MVR software on my computer, but it started failing more and more frequently. Now it won't even re-boot. I contacted Joyetech and they were surprisingly unhelpful. Wait 'til they work the bugs out of this one. There's nothing like having to carry around a laptop so that you can vape because your e-cig needs to be re-booted.
